How do I order my NHS prescriptions

Simply download the Healthera app, register with your details, and request the medicines you need. Your request is sent instantly to your GP. You’ll be able to track every stage of your order directly in the app.

How long does the process take?

Most GP surgeries approve prescription requests within 24 to 72 hours. Once approved, we prepare your medication, usually within 24 to 48 hours. The app updates you in real time so you always know whether your order is pending, approved, being prepared, or ready.

Is delivery free when using the app?

Yes, if you fall within our local delivery area. When your prescription is ready, we will deliver it to your door at no cost. If you prefer, the app will also notify you when your items are ready for collection instead.

How do I request a blister pack?

Blister packs cannot be requested through the app. If you need help organising your medicines, just call us directly. We’ll assess your medication routine and, if suitable, prepare weekly or monthly blister packs for you at no cost.

What if my medication changes?

Any updates from your GP are automatically reflected in the app. Your next prescription order will follow the updated medication list. For blister pack users, we adjust the next cycle or make urgent changes separately to keep your treatment accurate and safe.

Can I order for someone else?

Yes. If you care for a family member or support someone with their medication, you can manage their prescriptions through the Healthera app using the nominated pharmacy feature. With their consent, you can request their medicines, track updates, and arrange delivery or collection on their behalf.
